Anthony L. Majors

Anthony Lanor Majors, age 50. Passed away December 1, 2010, in St. Paul, MN, where he resided since 1991. Anthony was born to Annie Louise Majors and James Majors Jr. on July 21, 1960, in Racine, WI.

Anthony graduated from Horlick High School in 1978. He worked for American Motors for 17 years, then relocated to Minnesota and became a Nursing Assistant for 12 years. Anthony enjoyed fishing, golf, tennis, movies and, most of all, music. Anthony leaves behind his mother, Annie Louise Majors;  daughter, Lydia Marie Majors; granddaughter,  Brooklyn Ni’Rell Roland; and his significant other of 21 years, Wilma Waldrop. He also leaves behind two sisters, Victoria (Abbott) Carter and Stephanie Robinson; five brothers, David, Marques, Shay, Terrance, Deandre; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends Chevelle, Don, Yog, Jaime, and Ron.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother, Rush and Lela Majors of Tennessee; Mrs. Rebecca Nunn of Racine; his father, James Majors Jr.; sisters, Allie Faye and MaryLee; brothers, James Robert, Danny Stanley and Randy; and other aunts and uncles. You will always be missed but never forgotten. Rest in Peace.

The celebration of Anthony’s Home Going will be Friday, December 10, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Wayman AME Church, 424 N. Memorial Dr. Visitation will be held from noon till service time, followed by after pass at the church.
