Beverly L. (Baker) Welch

Beverly L. Welch, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at the Racine Hospice House.  Beverly was born in Racine on August 28, 1926, daughter of the late Irving and Florence (Nee: Hoffman) Baker.

On June 7, 1947, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to Norman L. Welch, who preceded her in death in 1989.  She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Beverly was a caring, compassionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her children, Larry (Christine) Welch of Elburn, IL, Terry Welch of Kansasville, Cheryl (Michael) Deschler of Union Grove; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Holly) Welch, Christopher Welch, Michael and Brett Deschler; great-grandchildren, Emma and Henry Welch; dear cousin, Alice (Charles) Rulopauph; her beloved dog, Oreo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Racine Assembly of God, 1325 Airline Road, with Rev. Jon Paulsen officiating.  Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m..
