Hanes 'Hank' F. Robbins

Hanes “Hank” F. Robbins, age 74, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Hospice House, Racine. Hank was born in New Albany, Mississippi, on December 19, 1938, son of the late Fred and Mamie (Nee: Judon) Robbins.

Through the years Hank was employed with American Motors, Belle City Malleable, and J.I. Case Company. He was a faithful and longtime member of Midtown Church of Christ where he enjoyed Bible studies and Thursdays on the hill. Hank also enjoyed playing cards with his friends and spending time at the John Bryant Senior Center. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his daughter, Marcella Robbins; three sisters, Virginia King of Rockford, IL, Faye Carter, Dottie Stewart, both of Racine; a host of other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Caprice May Hort; brothers, Noah and Prentice Robbins Sr.; sister, Ruby Jackson; and life companion, Linda Stoneburner.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at noon  at Midtown Church of Christ, 1704 13th St., with Minister Michael Moore officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
