Clarence R. Servi, age 85, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. Clarence was born in Marathon County, WI, on December 25, 1927, son of the late George L. and Mary A. (Nee: Jossi) Servi.
During the Korean War he proudly served in the United States Army. On May 16, 1953, in Antigo, WI, he was united in marriage to Alice C. Halambeck. Clarence was employed by S.C. Johnson Wax for thirty-one years, retiring in 1984. He was a longtime member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Alice; his children, David (Sandra) Servi of Pelican Lake, Michael (Susan) Servi, Jeffery (Karen) Servi, all of Racine, Carol (James) Gibson of South Barrington, IL; seven grandchildren, Caleb (Kate) Servi, Jennifer (Roy) Hilo, Jason (Amanda) Servi, Nicole Servi, Steven Servi, Krystal Servi, Rachael Gibson; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Haley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Paul Servi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave., with Rev. Richard J. Molter officiating. Entombment with Full Military Honors will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.
