Angelika 'Angie' (Djuricic) DeMoulpied

Surrounded by her loving family, Angelika “Angie” DeMoulpied, age 63, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011, at her residence. Angie was born in Lubeck, Germany, on May 12, 1948, daughter of the late Vladimir B. and Ida R. (Nee: Stotera) Djuricic and came to the United States as a young girl through Ellis Island.

On April 26, 1974, in Racine she was united in marriage to John DeMoulpied. An accomplished accordion player, Angie enjoyed playing for Oktoberfest and belonged to the Musicians Union and the Milwaukee Accordion Club. Always full of life, she enjoyed gardening, good food, a good laugh, good friends and family, and she had a great love for animals. She took great joy in the wonderment of children, especially her own grandchildren, who she adored. Angie will be fondly remembered for her zest for life, her bubbly personality and her great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-seven years, John; her children, Chris (Aleisha) Djuricic, Lisa (Jeff) Londre; her grandchildren, Garret and Dillon Londre, Isabelle Djuricic and Gabrielle Dixon; sisters, Millie Montgomery, Donna (Robert) Aleo; mother-in-law, Sylvia DeMoulpied; sister-in-law, Leeann (Steve) Morelli; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ingrid Celmer; and father-in-law, Lorin DeMoulpied.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Hansen officiating. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Mullane, Kelly, the entire staff at Oncology Alliance, and Wheaton Franciscan Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
