Roger J. White

Roger J. White, age 66, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011, at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Roger was born in St. Agnes, Michigan, November 3, 1944, son of the late John and Alice (Nee: Corp) White.

Roger proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from Nov. 3, 1961 until March 2, 1966. On October 21, 1967, he was united in marriage to Penny A. Maluchnick.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Penny; his daughter, Valerie White; his grandchildren, Dustin Vasey, Ryan Rohan, Aubrey Legath; his great-grandson, Ayden Vasey; brothers, Aaron (Marie) White and Gerald (Darlene) White; sister, Theresa (James) Johnson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Rohan.

Private services with full military and entombment were held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
