J. Alfonso Rico

J. Alfonso Rico, age 67, was born into eternal life Thursday, October 20, 2011, at his residence. He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, on November 9, 1943, son of the late Luis and Rafaela (Nee: Baez) Rico.

Surviving include his wife, Graciela; his seven children, Hortencia (Gelbert) Martinez, Esperanza Rico, Manuel (Maria) Rico, Elvira (Juan) Casiano, Maria Elizabeth (Robert) Carbajal, Silvia Rico, Ricardo Rico; grandchildren; brothers, Guadalupe, Ismael, Rafael and Josefina Rico; other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1100 Erie St., with Rev. Antoney Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet Monday at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
