Denise Marie Shulak

Denise Marie Shulak, Our Social Butterfly, went to be with the Lord in her sleep on January 8, 2014, at Woodstock Rehabilitation Home in Kenosha, WI. Denise lived her life as a resident of Racine, WI.

She enjoyed life to the fullest and was a gift to all who knew and loved her. She lived at Alpha Group Home in Racine, WI. While there she enjoyed volunteering at the Career Center on Lathrop Avenue.

Denise eventually needed to move from Alpha Homes to Woodstock Rehabilitation Skilled Home in Kenosha, WI. Denise loved living at Woodstock where there were a lot of activities to do and a lot of socializing which she really enjoyed. Denise loved interacting with others and she had a very contagious smile.

Denise is survived by her guardian, Shirley Dunham, who loved her and felt very blessed to have been a part of her life and will miss her dearly. Denise and Shirley shared a special bond. Throughout Denise’s life she was loved by many special people that will miss her.

Funeral services with interment will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at 1 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 9000 Washington Avenue.
