Juanita 'Jane' Emma (Gerardo) Klein

San Antonio -- Jane Emma Klein, age 67, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, January 30, 2014.  She was born in Racine on May 28, 1946, daughter of the late Caterino and Juanita (nee: Rodriguez) Gerardo.

Jane was employed first with Dremel Mfg. and later with In-Sink-Erator for 25 years, before retiring and moving to San Antonio, Texas, in 2009. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church (now, St. Richard). Jane was a faithful contributor to the St Jude Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoyed her grandchildren, playing the Lottery and her Sunday drives to the Racine lakefront on Lake Michigan. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of more than thirty years, Tony; daughter, Wendy (Samuel) Perez; beloved grandchildren, Samantha, Joel, Valerie and John Perez; brothers, Richard (Rose) Gerardo, John Gerardo (Tom Majcher); sisters, Cathy Jaster, Margaret (David) Ramos, Beverly “Mable” Spero; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David (June) Klein, Genie (Dave) Prins; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her children, Ronette and Leo; sisters, Delores and Mary; and brothers, Salvador, Albert, Rudy, Eddie, Joe, Robert and Donald

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Ronald J. Gramza officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Private interment will be held.  Memorials to the St. Jude Foundation have been suggested.
