Kathie L. Hughes

Kathie L. Hughes, age 52, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Ridgewood Care Center. Kathie was born in Brookfield, WI, December 28, 1956, daughter of the late Robert T. and Marilynn (Nee: Miller) Hughes.

Survivors include her brother, Paul Hughes (Rebecca Carbajal); nephew, Mike Hughes (Nikki Carroll); niece, Teresa (Tim) Vandeville; great niece and nephew, Arianna and Michael; special family member and caregiver, Dorothy Hughes (John Fonk); other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 15, 2009, 1 p.m. Interment will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Milwaukee, WI. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from noon until time of service. Memorials to the Racine Community Opportunity Center have been suggested.
