Phoenix, AZ – Stanley J. Carriveau, 64, passed away in Phoenix, AZ on March 31, 2009, following a short, courageous battle with cancer.
Stanley was born in Red Lake, MN, on March 19, 1945. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of AMVETS and American Legion Post #27. Stanley was also very active with Salmon-a-rama and was a member of the South Milwaukee Tavern League during the '80s.
Stanley is survived by his sons, Troy (Julie) Carriveau and John (Debbie) Carriveau; stepsons, Bill (Patti) Anderson and Todd (Jean) Anderson; nine grandchildren; brother, Gary (Ellen) Carriveau; sisters, Shirley (Bud) Mikolajczak, Janice Sanders and Sharon (Don Eaton) English; sister-in-law, Patricia Carriveau; and brother-in-law, Dean Hince. Stanley is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Duane Carriveau and Steve Carriveau; sister, Marion Hince; and her significant other, Daisy Rivest.
A Memorial service for Stanley will be held at St. Mary’s by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Drive, on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
