Sandy was born in Racine County on March 28, 1939, to William and Nina Bohn. She found her calling in life as a professional care giver as a certified Licensed Practical Nurse and Intensive Care Unit Nurse. As a dedicated professional even upon retirement she gave to the community as a caring friend and neighbor. Sandy raised four children who have taken her values of life and embraced them.
Sandy was a great mother and loving wife who will be truly missed. She affected the hearts of family, friends and neighbors. She will always be cherished and remembered.
Survivors include: husband, Duane Twesme of Pahrump NV; brother, David and wife Kathleen Bohn of Racine WI; sister, Kathleen White and husband Fred of Blackriver Falls WI; daughters; Cindy Schlichting and husband Daniel of Murrayville GA,, Michelle Verikas and husband John of Racine; sons, Richard Coey and wife Candace of Warrensburg MO, Anthony Coey and Dawn of Racine. Sandy also has 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children.
Per her wishes, Sandy was cremated at the crematory in Pahrump, NV, on March 11, 2009. A celebration of her life and memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. in Racine on April 4l at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
