From the countless stars we descended.
And to their brilliance we'll return.
Our personal star has ever been Mom.
Our time with her a blessing.
She held us in loving arms, tended our skinned knees and sent us back out to experience life.
Like the lighthouses she loved, her humor, empathy, strength, and passion for life prove precious gifts to help guide and navigate our lives by.
Whether raging beast or the more prickly of life's thorns, she protected us with a mother's fierce love and devotion as best she could.
Even when the pain crippled and the cancer weakened, she found the strength to let us know she would love us evermore.
Ever smiling, always sustaining, eternally shining, our star, our Mom…
Leonard & Lori Orth
