Union Grove -- Jeanette R. (Nee: Moyer) Heimerl, age 75, passed away unexpectedly during one of her many enjoyable outings with her husband on Friday, April 24, 2009.
She was born on May 13, 1933, daughter of the late William and Esther (Nee: Gooder) Moyer. On September 24, 1960, she was united in marriage to Willis Max Heimerl at Yorkville United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Yorkville.
Jeanette was the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful wife and mother that ever lived. She loved her family dearly. She adored her grandchildren and was very proud of them. They loved their grandma very much. She enjoyed being with her family, especially on vacation at the Wisconsin Dells every summer. She liked the boat trips, train ride, Tommy Bartlett Show, walking Main Street, having a picnic at the Lake Delton Public Beach, craft malls and the special tradition of all of us eating at Kentucky Fried Chicken. She had fun with her husband going to the various local county and state fairs, tractor shows and thresherees, Renaissance Faire, East Troy Trolley and Elegant Farmer.
Jeanette enjoyed entering her crafts and flowers in the Racine County Fair receiving many blue ribbons over the years. In her earlier years, she entered various baked goods and was known for her wonderful Christmas cookies. She also made a needlework picture for each of her grandchildren when they were born and a Christmas ornament for their first Christmas. She would sew clothes for her daughters when they were young and also many Barbie doll outfits. She will be missed dearly, but we will cherish her memories forever.
Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Willis; daughters, Susan (Burnell) Breaker of Racine, Sharon (Louis) Fliess of Burlington; six grandchildren, Andy and Ryan Breaker, Emily, Abbey, Michael and Molly Fliess; brother, Jim (Sandy) Moyer; sisters-in-law, Janice Hahn, Christine Heimerl; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was also preceded in death by her special cousin, Barbara Koenig, and Aunt Marjorie Evans.
Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the Yorkville United Methodist Church, 17645 Old Yorkville Road, Union Grove, Tuesday, April 28, 2009, from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. with the service to follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Gary Swanson officiating. Private interment will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
