Victor A. Anderson, 45, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare – All Saints on Tuesday morning, April 28, 2009.
Victor Anderson was born to Victor F. Jr. and Elizabeth (nee: Swanson) Anderson in Racine on Feb. 15, 1964. He lived all of his life in Racine. He was united in marriage to the former Tracy A. Hubbard in Racine on Aug. 31, 1996. He graduated from Washington Park High School in 1982. He was a long haul semi-truck driver working for Roadway Express for 15 years and most recently Sapko International.
Mr. Anderson was a member of Taylor Avenue Church of the Nazarene, Teamster Local #710, avid Packers fan, leisurely golfer, and collector of trains and Winross trucks. He was very proud of his one million mile accident-free driving. Victor will be deeply missed in our hearts.
Victor is survived by his wife, Tracy; two daughters, Rachel Luellman and Renee Anderson;mother, Elizabeth Anderson; two sisters, Debra Swencki and Glenda Anderson; two nieces and two nephews, Gavin and Stefanie Swencki, Ashley and Tyler Harding; one great-nephew, Mason; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor F. Anderson, Jr., and a brother-in-law, Joel Swencki
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 10 a.m. with Rev. David F. Monroe officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday evening, May 1, 2009, from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Memorials in memory of Victor may be directed to Taylor Avenue Church of the Nazarene, 2100 Taylor Ave., Racine, WI 53403.
