Ann D. (Ottmann) Barbian

Ann Dorothy Barbian, age 92, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Hospitality Nursing and Rehab Center, Kenosha. She was born in Franklin, WI, on January 13, 1916, daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Nee: Meyer) Ottmann.

On July 8, 1944, at Sacred Heart Parish in Franklin, she was united in marriage to George Barbian. Together they farmed all their married lives. George preceded her in death on January 20, 1963.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Machalik; daughter-in-law, Susan Barbian; nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews on the Machalik and Barbian sides of the family. She lost her son George on February 8, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph, and her sister, Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 10, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Ave., with Reverend Allen Bratkowski officiating. Interment will follow at St. Martin’s Cemetery, Franklin, WI. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church Monday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Memorials to St. Edward’s Catholic Church have been suggested.
