Grace M. (Falduto) Falbo

Grace Martha Falbo went home to the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at the Becker-Shoop Center. Grace was born in Kenosha on January 17, 1916, to the late Giacinto and Michelangelina (Nee: DeFazio) Falduto. She received her education in Kenosha schools.

Grace moved to Racine in 1939 with her husband. On September 30, 1939, she was united in marriage to John A. Falbo at Holy Rosary of Pompeii Church in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1969. Grace worked at Rainfair, retiring in 1981.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Altar Sodality. Above all, Grace was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved cooking for and spending time with her family. Grace also enjoyed watching and listening to the Cubs play.

Surviving are her devoted sons, Lewis (Diane) Falbo of Racine and John “Jack” (Connie) Falbo of Winter Garden, FL; grandchildren, Pattie (Shayne) Olson, James (Deann), Lisa, Anthony, Adam (Britt) Falbo, Natalie (Paul) Latino, Janet (Chris) New; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Jared Olson, Reid and McKenna Falbo, Zachary, Nicholas, and Andrew Latino, Allison, Morgan, and Benjamin New; sister, Josephine Barca of Kenosha; brother, Frank (Gina) Missurelli of Kenosha and many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

In addition to her parents Grace was also preceded in death by a daughter at birth, her brother, Paul Falduto; and sisters, Martha DeCicco, Angeline Greco and Mary Venturini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Ave., on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Henry Maibusch OSA officiating, assisted by Deacon Russell Missureli. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Becker-Shoop Center would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Becker-Shoop Center for their loving and compassionate care.
