Ms. Lillian Ida Petz, 90, passed away at Becker-Shoop Center on Thursday, November 13, 2008.
Lillian was born in Racine to the late Henry and Ida Petz on March 15, 1918. She lived most of her life in Racine and was employed for many years at Hamilton Beach Company and Sheridan Products before her retirement in 1981.
Ms. Petz was a charter member of Racine Assembly of God Church and had a life interest in Sunday School. She enjoyed playing both the piano and organ, and also corresponded regularly with missionaries and foreign relatives.
Lillian is survived by numerous cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at Racine Assembly of God on Monday, November 17, 2008, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Scott Brownell officiating. Private interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday at 1 p.m. until service time. Memorials may be directed to Racine Assembly of God Bible School Scholarships.
