Walter W. 'Wally' Andersen

Kenosha -- Walter W. Andersen, 75, went to be with his Lord in heaven on November 30, 2008. Walter was born in Bruce, WI, on September 24, 1933, son of the late Alfred and Celia (nee: St. John) Andersen.

Walter served in the U.S. Air Force. On April 18, 1968, he was united in marriage to Jean A. Smith. Wally was employed with Borden Dairy for over twenty seven years and most recently with the Milwaukee Metro Auto Auction. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Jean; daughter, Shelly (Jim) Pinter; stepchildren, Emily (Richard) Day, Sherry (Gordy) Simanek, Daniel (Theresa) Mullenberg; grandchildren, Jasmine, Javis, Rickey, Heidi, Jason, Jessica, Gordy, Troy, Danielle, and Chad; great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Robert (Joyce) Andersen, Larry (Mary Ann) Andersen, Lillian (Peter) Zimmer, Eunice Riddick; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Wally was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim, and brother-in-law, Henry Riddick.

Funeral services will be held at First Assembly of God Church, 10700 75th St., Hwy 50, Kenosha, on Thursday December 4, 2008, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dan Remus officiating. Interment with Military Honors onors will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.
