Karen L. (Hansen) Seeger

Mrs. Karen L. Seeger, 52, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare/All Saints on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009. She was born in Racine on May 11, 1957, to John M. Hansen and the late Betty Jane (nee: Jacobsen) Hansen. She lived all of her life in Racine. She was united in marriage to Richard Seeger, in Racine on June 12, 1976. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.

She is survived by her husband; Richard Seeger; two daughters, Sarah (Timothy) Pavlik of GA and Leah (Gerald) McCauley; four grandchildren, Candace, Amber, Tyler and Jordan; two brothers, Jeff (Jan) Hansen and Todd Hansen; one sister, Susan (Patrick) Kosterman; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Chanden Hansen; grandmother, Lena Jacobson; aunt and uncle, Grace and David Krenzke.

Funeral services will be held at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 322 Ohio St., on Wednesday, Sept 9, 2009, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may meet with the family at the Wilson Funeral Home, 1212 Lathrop Ave., on Tuesday, Sept 8, 2009, from 5-8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
