Lucille E. LaPoint

Lucille E. LaPoint, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday September 13, 2009, at WFH-All Saints.

She was born in Salina, Kansas, on March 27, 1926, the daughter of Orville and Katherine (nee: Hoffman) Miller, and was raised in the Kansas and Missouri area until meeting the love of her life, Alfred. She is further survived by 25 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, five sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, on April 11, 1995; one daughter, Lillie Wadewitz; one grandson, Michael; one granddaughter, Heather; son-in-law, Rusty Mordja; one brother, Bud; and one sister, Barbara Jo.

Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Thursday September 17, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Newman Manor, 329 S.
