Hazel E. Resong, age 93, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Milwaukee, WI. Hazel was born in Morristown, MN, January 26, 1918, daughter of the late John O. and Alma M. (Nee: Blake) Hurd.
Survivors include her children, Evelyn (Bill) Cummings of Nevada, Joan (John) Hetland, Albert (Maureen) Jacox, all of Racine, Narcine (Fred) Lambrecht of Palm Harbor, FL; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating. Interment will follow at Mound Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Memorials to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
