Caledonia - Kenneth N. Nelson, 68, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha.
He was born to the late Norman and Kathryn (nee: Koehler) Nelson on July 6, 1942, and lived his entire life in Racine. He was united in marriage to Sandra D. Johnson on August 27, 1966.
Kenneth was a graduate of Washington Park High School and had been employed for 33 years at Xerox as an electronics technician before his retirement in 1998. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy and the Reserves. He had been stationed on the first U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier-Enterprise. Kenneth was also an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Nicole Nelson; brother, Russell (Jean) Nelson; as well as other relatives and friends.
Private services in memory of Kenneth were held. Interment was at West Lawn Memorial Park.
