Kenosha -- Linda Schoeffler, 62, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove. She was born in Racine on January 15, 1949, to the late Frederick and Eleanor (Nee: Golz) Schoeffler.
She lived most of her life in Racine. She was employed at Acme Die Casting as a foreman for 35 years and at BRP for 6 years as a quality inspector. Linda enjoyed basket weaving, cooking, jewelry making and spending time with her nephews. She enjoyed bowling and traveling in the United States and abroad to France and Belgium. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three siblings, Judith (Randall) Nelsen and David Schoeffler, all of Racine, and Susan (James) Sanford of Madison; nephews, Jamie (Jody) Auman, Brian (Chris)Auman, Michael Edler; two great-nephews, Nickoliss and Jacob Auman; one great-niece, Alexis Auman; step-great-nephew, Taner Nelsen; special cousins, John, Jim, Debbie, Patti, April; and other relatives and special friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Olson.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3350 Lathrop Ave., on Monday, May 23, 2011, at 7 p.m. with Pastor Timothy Schellenbach officiating. Inurnment will be private for the family. Friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday evening from 6 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
