Agnes F. (Murphy) Hetland

Agnes F. Hetland, age 83, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center. Agnes was born in Racine, June 2, 1926, daughter of the late Albert G. and Ida M. (Nee: Duda) Murphy.

Agnes was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. She was united in marriage to Vilas W. Hetland, who preceded her in death on October 29, 1990. Agnes was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her nine children, Ron (Rachelle) Hetland, Suzanne (Gary) Weinkauf, Daniel (Patricia) Hetland, Michael (Debra) Hetland, Timothy (JoAnna) Hetland, Joe (Jeri) Hetland, Mary Johann, Jacqueline (Gary) Pfeilstifter, Paul Hetland; 23 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, George and Raymond; and sister, Sister Eloise Murphy.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ronald J. Gramza officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Private interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the nursing staff at Wheaton Franciscan - All Saints Medical Center 3B for their loving and compassionate care.
