John worked for Lincoln Lutheran in day care for the elderly for many years. He loved to compete in chess tournaments and was an avid baseball fan. He spent many a day at the Racine Public Library and was grateful for the assistance he received from their staff.John will be solely missed by his brother, Edward, of Boulder, CO; sisters, Dorothy “Dee” Dominowski of Racine, Dolores Cortis of Glen Ellyn, IL; two stepsisters, Dorothy (Stan) Rogers, Joan Steiner of IL; and many Steiner relatives.
Our sincere gratitude to the staff at Lincoln Lutheran Convalescent Home, St. Monica’s Senior Citizen Home, Ridgewood Health Care Center, and Odyssey Health Care for their excellent care. According to John’s wishes there will be no visitation as cremation will take place. Perhaps a card or note would be greatly appreciated by Dee Dominowski of Racine.
