Surrounded by her family, Denise Ann Thomas, age 45, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009, at her residence following a liver kidney transplant. She was born in Milwaukee, WI, on April 22, 1964, daughter of Vernon and Loretta (Nee: Pete) Thomas.
Denise grew up in Caledonia and graduated from J.I. Case High School “Class of 1983.” She enjoyed shopping, dancing, country music and children. Most importantly it was being with her family, friends and especially her daughter Brooke that she cherished the most. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her daughter, Brooke Rynders; parents, Vernon and Loretta Thomas of Crivitz, WI; sister and brothers, Roxanne Pfeffer (Dave Buck), Greg Thomas, Mark (Rita) Thomas, Todd Thomas, and Jay (April) Thomas; niece and nephews, Alissa Pfeffer, Luke Pfeffer and Leevi Thomas; aunts, uncles, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009, at the funeral home at 6 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Memorials to the family for Brooke’s education have been suggested
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to cousins Cynthia and Jerry Champagne of Manistee, MI, for their unconditional love and support to Denise and Brooke. The family would also like to thank the 4th Floor nursing staff at Froedtert Memorial Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
