Tess was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1958.” She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Rita Catholic Church. Tess was employed by Jacobsen Manufacturing for several years until her retirement in 1998. She enjoyed volunteering at the local food pantry. Tess enjoyed cooking, puzzles, sewing, bowling, mystery movies and thunderstorms. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family and will be deeply missed.Survivors include her children, Liz Gottfredsen, Kim (Jeff) Toutant, Kelly Eaton (Phil), Tony (Traci) Eaton; her grandchildren, Ken Gottfredsen, Kristi Folk, Eric and Adam Toutant, Anthony Jr., Timothy, and Thomas Eaton; her great-grandchildren, Deon, Braydon, Ashley, Tyler and expecting Teagan Faith; sister-in-law, Maureen Eisenman; her cat, Baby; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Katie Gottfredsen; and brother, Joseph Eisenman Jr.; and her stepfather, William Kannenberg.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated Monday, November 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John D. Aiello officiating, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m.
