Marie was a probation parole officer for many years for the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections. She was an avid bingo player and loved her cats, Tommy and Maggie. Above all Marie devoted her life to her family and will be deeply missed.Survivors include her children, Tracey (Jeff) Lees, Joset (Steve) Lees, Raul Medina Jr.; her four grandsons, Stephen Rodriguez, Adrian Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez and Wesley Lees; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Anthony Lees; and brother, Stephen Erato.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 27, 2009, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet Friday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of service. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.
The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Caledonia Rescue, Fire, and Police Departments for their courageous efforts and compassion shown to the family.
