Audrey Jane (nee: Mischke) Patrick, 88, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care-All Saints. Audrey was born in Racine on August 9, 1921, the daughter of George and Pearl (nee: Boeshaan ) Mischke. She was united in marriage to Raymond J. Patrick and was a graduate of Washington Park High School.
Audrey was a former member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church and retired from Jacobson Manufacturing after 20 years of service. Audrey found great enjoyment in bowling and crocheting and was an avid lover of books and reading.
Audrey is survived by two daughters, Eileen LaDuke of Racine and Sue (Michael) La Paglia of Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren, Nicole LaDuke, Scott La Paglia, Matthew (Jessika) La Paglia and Kelly La Paglia.
She is further survived by one brother-in-law, Arthur Uhlir, along with other relatives and dear friends.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond in 1971; and one sister, Carol Uhlir.
In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, private funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home with burial at West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Meals on Wheels, 5820 Lincoln Village Dr., would be appreciated.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Ridgewood Care Center and W.F.H.C.-All Saints E.R. for their fine care and support given to Audrey.
