Nancy A. Jung, 77, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Saturday, December 5, 2009.
Nancy was born in Racine on December 23, 1931, to Jessie and Pearl (nee, Schoeppe) Tanner. She married Donald G. Jung and had been married for over 52 years. Nancy had worked for Voorlas Manufacturing and retired from Moxness Products. She was a very active member of Second Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher and in the Ladies Guild. Nancy also volunteered for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and was a very vocal Packers fan.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Donald G. Jung; children, John (Jenny) Jung and Barbara (Scott Davis) Jung; grandchildren, Joe (Alyssa Goodman) Krinkey, Janelle Jung and James Jung; great-granddaughter, Bailey Rose; brother, Ed Tanner; and her sister, Sylvia (Earl) Guernsey. Nancy is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Nancy will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 12, 2009, at 3 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
