FRIENDSHIP – Marie (nee: Burdick) Booth, 77, formerly of Racine passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Moundview Memorial Hospital in Friendship. She was born on July 26, 1932, in Lindsey, Wisconsin, the daughter of George and Gladys (nee: Griffin) Burdick and lived most of her life in Racine. On February 17, 1951, Marie was united in marriage to William Hugh Booth in Racine.
Marie enjoyed making bisque dolls, listening to classical music and fishing with her sister-in-law, Edith Burdick, and was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan.
Marie is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, William (Carol) Booth of Franksville and Albert Booth of Friendship; daughter, Debra (David Cosier) Booth of Providence, Rhode Island; grandchildren, Tanya (Bryon) Kirchenberg, Loretta and Bill Booth all of Racine; two great-granddaughters, Brianna and Allison Kirchenberg; brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Mary) Burdick of Racine.
She is further survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives in Racine and various communities throughout Wisconsin.
Marie was preceded her in death by her parents; husband, William on December 14, 1996; seven brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
