Betty Jo Asberry, age 56, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011, at Wheaton Franciscan–All Saints Medical Center. Betty was born August 12, 1955, daughter of the late Joe Polk and Emma Lee Asberry. Betty was employed as a CNA for a number of years.
Survivors include her three children, Angie (Fred) Seay, Kwan Asberry, Lisa (Vester) Bunch; her twelve grandchildren, Daisheri, Delvonte, Da’Nasia, Alicia, Adarrius, Tiesianna, David, Kain, Kwan Jr., Nucarlreo Jr., Davion, Xavier; one great-grandchild, Tae’ Jon; brothers, Robert, Jessie and Johnny; sister, Linda (Joe) Croom; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; close friend, Robert “Pops” Kyles; host of other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2011, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Bobby Vinson officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
