Jeanette M. (Williams) Kratochvil

Jeanette M. Kratochvil, age 90, passed away Friday August 19, 2011, at her residence. Jeanette was born in Kenosha, May 16, 1921, daughter of the late Kenneth and Johanna (nee: Jessen) Williams.

She graduated early from Harper High School at the age of sixteen. On December 2, 1939, Jeanette was united in marriage to the love of her life, Joseph E. Kratochvil. They spent forty-seven beautiful years together before he passed away in 1986. Jeanette was a former active member of St. Sebastian’s Catholic Church, where she served as president of the Altar Society, was the legislative committee chairman of the Old Timers’ Group and was past president of MACCW. She was last attending Elmbrook Church in Brookfield. Always with an active calendar, Jeanette enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bridge and her Bible study groups. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughters, Jan Kondrad of Sussex, Mary Lou (Jim) Qualler of Delafield; grandchildren, Kristopher Kondrad, Kiersten (Chip) Carlson, Adam (Denise Teves) Qualler, Justin (Joanne Aponte) Qualler; great-grandchildren, Katie, Molly and Lucy Carlson with a baby girl of Adam and Denise on the way; sisters-in-law, Cathryn Wood, LaVerne Kratochvil and Verna Fritz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanette was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday August 23, 2011, at noon. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon. Memorials to WVCY TV Channel 30 have been suggested.
