Mrs. Eleanor Louise (nee: Moll) Chapman, 93, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints.
Eleanor was born to Robert and Elsie (nee: Snyder) Mollon on April 20, 1918, in Bethlehem, PA. In Bethlehem, she was united in marriage to Francis Chapman on May 23, 1942. After their marriage, the couple moved to Racine, where they spent the rest of their lives.
Eleanor was a member of Calvary Memorial Church where she spent many years of faithful service teaching sunday school to 3-4-year-olds.
She will be dearly missed by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis (Thomas) Fleischer of Indianapolis, IN, and Faith (Rev. Bruce) Rulapaugh of Oelwein, IA; two sons and two daughters-in-law, James (Laurie) Chapman of Phoenix, AZ, and Douglas (Elizabeth) Chapman of Eleva; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; and son, Paul Robert Chapman.
Funeral services in honor of Eleanor were private. Interment took place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
