Mae Dorothy Snoke, age 93, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011, at Lakeshore Manor. Mae was born in Racine on March 23, 1918, daughter of the late Frank and Henrietta (nee: Brinkman) Johnson.
On May 23, 1947, in Crown Point, IA, Mae was married to Harlan J. Snoke, who preceded her in death on June 1, 1989. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. Mae loved dancing and animals. She will be dearly missed by her great-nieces, great-nephews, dear friends, other relatives and her friends at Lakeshore Manor.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Sunday, August 28, 2011, at 5 p.m. with Rev. Hilbert C. Kamps officiating. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery on Monday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet for visitation at the funeral home Sunday from 4 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m.
