Lois A. (Smith) Chase

Lois A. Chase, age 72, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011, at the Hospice House, Pleasant Prairie, WI. Lois was born in Sardis, MS, January 16, 1939, daughter of the late Travis and Minnie (Nee: Lawley) Smith.

She was united in marriage to George H. Chase who preceded her in death, April 15, 1998. Lois was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, dancing and traveling. More than anything, Lois treasured time with her family. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her children, Charlie (Lani) Renneau, Charlo (Barry) Zauss; seven grandchildren, Megan (Greg) Stollenwerk, Nicole (Dusty) Parr, Kyle (Amanda) Zauss, Melissa (Brian) Crogg, Lindsay (Kevin) Barnes, Cody Zauss, Tyrel Zauss; nine great-grandchildren, Chase, Jillian, Wyatt, Weston, Wade, Emma, Drake, Mason and Caleb; her identical twin sister, Louise Gore; sister, Betty Dunnigan; brother, Tom Smith; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Pete Smith; and her beloved companion, Bob Olson.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
