Kenneth J. Waydick

Kenneth J. Waydick, age 66, was called home to be with his Lord Friday, August 19, 2011. Kenneth was born in Baraboo, WI, on November 1, 1944, son of the late Willard and Leona (nee: Held) Waydick.

Before retirement, Ken was last working with Haman Brothers Produce. He was a regular attendee of Taylor Avenue Church of the Nazarene. He was a hard worker who loved the Lord. Ken was a hard core Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoyed a good game of cribbage and oldies music. Above all, his life revolved around his children. Ken’s radiant smile and great optimism will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include his three children, Eric, Jessica and Jason Waydick; granddaughter, Hannah; siblings, Nancy (Keith) Fenske, Beverly Gentry, Judy (Allen) Mueller, Ron (Elaine) Waydick, Sandi (Dick) McQuade; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service followed by Full Military Honors will be held at the Taylor Avenue Church of the Nazarene, 2100 Taylor Ave., on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Vito Monteblanco officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.
