Dolores K. (Drummond) Botsch

Dolores Kathleen Botsch, age 92, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Racine, March 21, 1919, daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (Nee: Gehring) Drummond.

Dolores graduated from St. Catherine’s High School. She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church, the Catholic Junior League and the Racine Women's Club. She also was a volunteer with St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary for a number of years, working in the gift shop and making numerous baby caps. More than anything she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her children, Beverly (Tom) Bell, Barbara (Ken) Orth, Linda (Michael Graham, Kathleen (David) Morgan, David Botsch (Julie Herman); 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Carpenter; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles, and her brother, Bill Drummond.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 15, 2011, at 7 p.m. at St. Richard’s Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Ave. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church from 6 p.m. until time of Mass.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her caregivers at Hospice Alliance and Parkview Gardens, Shannon, Kimberly, Regina, Erin and LaChere for their loving compassionate care.
