Charlotte T. (nee: Czuper) Bialecki, 95, passed away peacefully at Wisconsin Veterans Home – Boland Hall in Union Grove on Monday, February 16, 2009.
A lifetime resident, Charlotte was born in Racine on June 7, 1913, to the late Joseph and Josephine (nee: Nowikowska) Czuper. She attended St. Stanislaus Grade School “Class of 1928” and graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in 1932.
On October 18, 1947, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, she was united in marriage with Stanley F. Bialecki, who preceded her in death on November 23, 2007.
Years ago, Charlotte was employed by Webster Electric, S.S. Kresge Dime Store and Motor Specialty. However, her favorite job and first priority in life was being a full-time wife and mother, a vocation she completely excelled at.
With a profound Catholic faith, she had been a member of St. Stanislaus and Holy Trinity Parishes. In recent years, she was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church. Charlotte enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, doing special things for her family, taking day trips to places around Wisconsin and Illinois, and taking an occasional trip to the casino. Along with her husband, she enjoyed planting and cultivating their garden when they lived on Blaine Avenue. Visits from Toby, the Welsh Terrier, were also always enjoyable. All in all, Charlotte enjoyed life. She will be greatly missed, especially by her daughter, Kathleen.
Surviving are her son, Paul (Sally) Bialecki of Madison; daughter, Kathleen Bialecki of Racine; sisters-in-law, Adella Czuper and Irene Rygasewicz, both of Racine; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Stanley, John and Vincent Czuper; sister, Harriet Johnson; brothers-in-law, Donald Schreiber, Clayton Lee, Edward Johnson, Dominic Bialecki and Richard Rygasewicz; and sisters-in-law, Ann Czuper and Lorraine Bialecki.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 20, 2009, at 10 a.m. in St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave., with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. and in the church on Friday from 9-10 a.m.
The family would like to thank the staff on 2 West at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at Union Grove – Boland Hall, for their compassionate care of Charlotte, especially Deanna and Sue.
