Ronald was born in Racine to the late Kenneth and Marcella (nee: Dashner) Welch on September 16, 1954. He lived in Racine his whole life.Mr. Welch was employed by Chrysler for 30 years and retired in February of 2004. He was a member of the UAW Local 75. He lived a simple life and enjoyed the local fairs and festivals.
Ronald is survived by four children, Tammy (Patrick) Hart, Christopher (Christine Kane) Welch, Jacob Welch, and Joseph Welch; three grandchildren, Tony, Amber and Jada; one brother, DuWayne Welch; one sister, Patricia Valadez; his loving fiancée, Sandy Kiekhefer; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at noon. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 11 a.m. until time of service.
