Patrick was born in Ontario, Canada, to the late Daniel and Blanche (nee: Bedard) Parenteau on July 15, 1930, and had lived in Racine for most of his life. He was united in marriage to Janet Homan in Colorado, in 1955.Mr. Parenteau proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was employed by the University of Wisconsin – Parkside for 10 years retiring in 1986.
Patrick is survived by his daughter, Katherine Parenteau; two sons, David (Joyce) Parenteau and Andrew (Cynthia) Parenteau; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Joseph (Diane) Parenteau; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carmella Smith, and a son-in-law, Norman Hefner.
Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Dover. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
