Ann M. (Stommel) Moore

Ann M. Moore, age 47, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011. Ann was born in Racine, June 22, 1963, daughter of William and Nancy J. (Nee: Mueller) Stommel.

Ann was a graduate of Washington Park High School “Class of 1981.” She was employed in the construction field as a welder for many years. An avid outdoorsman, Ann enjoyed camping and motorcycling. She had a great love for animals, music and her guitar, and the Packers. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her companion, Janet K. Presson; her sons, Michael W. Moore, Anthony J. Moore; her mother, Nancy (Jean) Stommel-King; sisters, Susan Stommel of KY, William (Renee) Stommel, Kathryn (Daniel) Hossalla; stepsisters, Debra (Mark) Kunz, Sandra (Charles) Schovain, Michael (Terri) King, Barbara (John) Brahm; father of her sons, Michael “Mickey” Moore; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William F. Stommel Sr.; her grandparents; and her uncle, Rev. Russel Stommel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave., with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at church from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.
