Sharon A. (DuPont) Lousier

Surrounded by her family, Sharon Ann Lousier, age 62, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Manitowoc, WI, on March 1, 1949, daughter of George and Lois (Nee: Hebert) DuPont.

Sharon was educated in Manitowoc and on August 29, 1970, she was united in marriage to James F. Lousier. They moved to Racine in 1972. Sharon was an administrative assistant for the community outreach program, Focus. She enjoyed bowling, traveling and gardening and was an avid tennis and bridge player. She dedicated her life to her family and will be dearly missed.

Surviving are husband, Jim; children, Leann (John) Pomeroy, Scott (Alison) Lousier; grandchildren, Johnnie and Zoe; her parents, George and Lois DuPont; three brothers and a sister, James (Susan) DuPont, Karen (Mark) Flasher, John (Lynn) DuPont, Dale (Jody) DuPont; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Rosemary Konitzer, Marcia (Dick) Lemberger, Audrey (Don) Faust, Dan (Gail) Lousier; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Eric James; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Gladys Lousier.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Mike Bertam presiding. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at 4 p.m. until time of service. Memorials to the family to be used for the grandchildren's education have been suggested.
