Marjorie Louise Hildensperger

Mrs. Marjorie L. (nee: Botsford) Hildensperger, 84, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Monday, March 28, 2011.

Marjorie was born in Racine to the late Norman A. and Hazel L. (nee: Schmoyer) Botsford on January 3, 1927. She was united in marriage to Arnold ‘Arnie’ Hildensperger on November 22, 1947.

Mrs. Hildensperger was a 1945 graduate of Washington Park High School and also attended Ripon College from 1945 to 1946. She was employed as an office manager at Rite Engineering from 1960 to 1978 and Racine Plating Company from 1979 until her retirement in 1994.

Marjorie was a member of Christ Church United Methodist of Racine and was a Past Worthy Matron in 1957 of the Racine Chapter #45 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of Guardian of Bethel #22 Jobs Daughters, the Racine Chapter of the DAR, and the Elks Ladies Club.

Marjorie will be dearly missed by her daughter, Lynn (Paul) Walby of Morrisonville; granddaughter, Michelle (nee: Widmer) and Robert Fetterer of Cary, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Helen Botsford of Muskego; niece, Janet (nee: Botsford) and Don Kriz of Sugarland, TX, and their family,  The Reverend Douglas (Meredith) Kriz and Paul Kriz; nephew, Norman (Mary) Botsford of Tucson, AZ, and their family, Christian Botsford, Theresa (Jared) Godinez and Paul Botsford; and sister-in-laws, Mary Jo Hildensperger of Wausau and Delores Hildensperger of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnie Hildensperger, in 2010; and her father and mother.

Funeral services will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday, April 3, 2011, at 4 p.m. with The Reverend Douglas Kriz of Prosper, TX, officiating. A private interment will be held at Mound Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Sunday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials in memory of Marjorie may be directed to Racine Humane Society, Hospice Alliance of Racine, and Christ Church United Methodist of Racine.

Mom, you are loved by all of us. Rest in peace.
