Carol J. (Heiser) Lloyd

Carol J. Lloyd, age 74, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center. Carol was born in Racine, January 3, 1937, daughter of the late Richard and Hazel (Nee: Tooley) Heiser and was a lifelong Racine resident.

Carol will forever be remembered for her devotion and love, caring for her family throughout the years. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. A bingo fanatic, Carol enjoyed her excursions to Potawatomi and her Wednesday bus trips with her best friend Phyllis Morgenson. She cherished time spent with her many friends at Mount Pleasant Manor, many of whom she considered as family. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her loving companion, Harold Bjugstad; her children, Donelle Lloyd (Jim Andersen), Diane Lloyd, Douglas (Chris) Lloyd, Donald (Kimberly) Lloyd, Daniel (Debbie) Lloyd; her grandchildren, Angela (Randy) Vlach, Amy (Justin) Corona, Anthony Corona, Orvie Lloyd, Amanda Bose (Eddie Clash), Philip and Madeline Lloyd, Megan, Daniel, and Emily Lloyd, Steven and Brittany Hayek, Michael Petersen; her five great-grandchildren, Vincent, Elizabeth, Ethan, Madison and Bradyn; sisters and brothers, Judy Bernal, Sandra (Frank) Heirnen, Richard “Jack” Heiser, David Heiser, Randall Heiser; special aunt, Lee Stuckey; cousin, Sue Kadamian; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lloyd; and sister, Patricia Paakkonen.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2011, at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Ridge Cemetery, Kenosha, WI, with Rev. Jeffrey M. Thielen officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Monday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Memorials to one’s favorite charity have been suggested.
