Annette J. Frederickson, age 83, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center. Annette was born in Milwaukee, WI, May 10, 1925, daughter of the late Peter M. and Anna (Nee: Giltner) Westenberger.
On June 29, 1957, Annette was united in marriage to Wilbur K. Frederickson at St. Michaels Church in Milwaukee. In her younger years she was employed by Briggs and Stratton. Annette was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for more than thirty years. Above all she devoted her life to her family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur; her three sons, Kurt S. Frederickson, Paul J. (Vicki) Frederickson, Jon A. (Mary K.) Frederickson of Waterford, WI; her three daughters, Mary E. (Andrew) Abbott of Kenosha, Kari Ann (Jeffrey) Melton of AL, Susan L. (Samuel) Irlapati of Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren: Kelsey, Joseph, Janine, Janelle, Jeana, James, Cullen, Quinton, Olivia, Rebecca and Elizabeth; brother, Herbert (Ivy) Westenberger of Pewaukee, WI; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charlotte Westenberger of Memphis, TN; Austin “Tag” Stapleton of Menomonee Falls, WI; David (Lenore) Frederickson of FL; William (Doris) Schier of Wauwatosa, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Vicki Frederickson; brother, Walter Westenberger; sisters, MariAnn (Nathan) Baron, Isabelle (Robert) Eckert, Clarissa (Bernard) Wellinghoff, and Rose Stapleton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 28, 2008, at 6 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie St., with Rev. John Aiello officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family on Monday at 4 p.m. until time of Mass at the church. Private entombment will be held at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum.
