Marie M. Koleske

Marie M. Koleske, age 94, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Medical Center. Marie was born in Racine, May 6, 1914, daughter of the late Frank L. and Veronica S. (Nee: Feest) Koleske.

Marie was a graduate of St. Joseph Grade School and St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1932.” She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and sang in their choir. Marie was employed by Hartman Trunk Company for twenty-five years and then by Master Appliance until her retirement. She will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her sisters, Hildegard Walsh, Rita (Samuel) Barranco, Elaine Jones; her brothers, Lawrence (LaVerne) Koleske, Louie Koleske, Mark (Sandy) Koleske, Daniel (Shirley) Koleske; sister-in-law, Josephine Koleske; brother-in-law, Joseph Adamek; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Francis (Laura) Koleske, Paul Koleske, John (Roberta) Koleske, Joan Adamek, Eleanor (George) Beyer; brothers-in-law, Eugene Walsh, Ray Jones.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, Thursday, July 24, 2008, at 10 a.m. with Rev. John D. Aiello officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to St. Monica’s Senior Citizen Home have been suggested.
