Frederick N. Schutz

Frederick “Fred” N. Schutz, 49, passed away unexpectedly at WFH-All Saints Medical Center on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, as the result of a heart attack.

Fred was born in Kenosha on December 30, 1958, to incredible and loving parents Eugene and Elizabeth (nee: Battenburg) Schutz. Carolyn Schutz was his loving Step-Mother. For the past few years, he was employed as a quality control engineer with Instrument Development Corp. of Mukwonago.

On November 30, 2002, in Racine, he was united in marriage with Lynda Michelle Little.
Fred loved to be at home in the surroundings of his family. He enjoyed mastering “Guitar Hero” and “Rock Band” video games; singing; computers; riding gigantic roller coasters; and playing with his canine companions, Max, J.R. and Mini. Fred was a true gentleman who thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the simple things in life.

Surviving are his wife, Lynda; daughters, Amanda (Dustin) Mathis and Samantha Schutz; grandchildren, Kaylee, Megan, Ann-Marie and Drake Mathis, all of Racine; mother, Elizabeth Moran of New Berlin; father, Eugene (Carolyn) Schutz of Kenosha; brothers, James (JoAnn), John ( Jeanette ) and Gary ( Vicki ) Schutz; mother-in-law, Judi (Vincent) Carey; brother-in-law, Patrick Louis Little; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name.

In accordance with Fred’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service of remembrance will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. There will be time to visit with the family on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In memory of Fred, memorial contributions to the family have been suggested.

A heartfelt note of thanks to the extremely compassionate staff of WFH-All Saints Emergency Room, especially Jeff, for doing everything in their powers in trying to save our beloved Fred.

Lynda,
Don and I are very sorry for your loss and want you to know that you and you daughters are in our prayers. I am sure Fred is currently playing his best guitar hero game ever and showing all of the angels in heaven how it's done. Lots of hugs and love.
