KENOSHA -- Alan J. Sapko, age 54, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008, as a result of a tragic helicopter accident. Alan was born in Racine on September 11, 1954, son of John G. and Florence L. (Nee: Boswell) Sapko.
Alan was President and C.E.O. of Sapko International. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed vacationing, Harleys, boating, flying, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and good friends. He will be sadly missed.
Survivors include his mother, Florence Sapko of Kenosha; his two sons, Zacharia Sapko of California and Elijah Sapko of Kenosha; his daughter, Keah Sapko of California; sisters and brother, Joanne Sapko of Racine, Terry (Cindy) Sapko of Lebanon, MO, Dona (David) Mancuso of Racine, Leisa (Mike) Sahagian of Naples, FL; former wife, Terry H. Sapko; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 26, 2008, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until time of service.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt condolences to the Cecchini, Anzalone and Hanneman families for the loss of Al’s very dear and special friend, Joan.
